Die Lage des Platzes hoch über Bad Pyrmont und Lügde auf den Höhen des Winzenberg
gestattet einen einmaligen Panoramablick. Als Besonderheit ist zu erwähnen, dass man auf
der Bahn 7 mit einem Schlag von Nordrhein-Westfalen nach Niedersachsen schlagen kann.
Anfahrt: In Lügde in Höhe Kirche / Markplatz: an Fußgängerampel in nordwestliche
Richtung in Brückenstraße (K64) einbiegen. Die Emmerbrücke (Fluss) passieren.
The location of the place high above Bad Pyrmont and Lugde on the
hills of the Winzenberg allows a unique panorama view. As a specialty to mention is that
you can hit from North Rhine-Westphalia to Lower Saxony on the course 7 with one hit.
Arrival: In Lugde in highth of the church / market place: turn into a pedestrian
traffic sign in north west direction to the Bruckenstrasse (K64). Pass the Emmerbrucke
bridge (river).
Nach ca. 200 m links ab zum Sonnenhof abbiegen. Am Sonnenhof vorbeifahren und
danach etwa 2 km nordwestlich bergauf fahren. Kurz hinter dem Kempenhof ist der
Golfclub-Parkplatz.
After about 200 meters turn left to the Sonnenhof. Drive past the
Sonnenhof and afterwards drive about 2 km in north-west uphill. Shortly behind the
Kempenhof is the golf club parking lot.

In der Gaststätte "Zum Postillon", Weserstr. 10,
Schieder-Schwalenberg-Brakelsiek (ca. 2,5 km von Burg Schwalenberg entfernt) können 2
Kegelbahnen ganztägig bis 18.30 Uhr zum Preis von 9 DM pro Stunde von Gästen gemietet
werden (Stand Herbst 2001).
Skittling, skittle alley
There are several places with skittle alleys in Schieder-Schwalenberg.
In the public tavern "Zum Postillon", Weserstr. 10,
Schieder-Schwalenberg-Brakelsiek (about 2,5 km away from castle hotel Schwalenberg) two
skittle alleys can be rented full-time until 6:30 p.m. at a price of 9 DM per hour for
guests. (status fall 2001)
Riding in Schieder-Schwalenberg, possible in the riding hall and outdoors, 10 minutes
with the car.
Bicycle riding in a charming landscape – rental possibility available. 1/2 a day 5
DM, 1 day 8 DM – bike remote hiking trail (Radfernwanderweg) "R1".
Indoor swimming pool with whirlpool, steam bath and sauna:
